If you’re looking for a new laptop purchase, then you might be considering the MacBook 12in M7. While it’s not my favorite computer out there, it’s still an excellent choice and is often rank among the top laptops in many reviews.
Features of MacBook 12in M7
The MacBook Pro is a great laptop for the majority of people. It’s fast, reliable, and easy to use. But if you’re looking for something more powerful or want to run macOS 10 or higher, you should probably look elsewhere. The MacBook Pro is also a bit expensive compared to Windows laptops with similar specs (the base model costs $2099). Display
It is fast, easy to use and has an excellent display. It’s also light and compact enough that you can take it with you anywhere.
However, there are a few things I would change about this laptop:
- The processor is only dual-core. If Apple makes a quad-core version of this laptop then I will definitely buy one!
- The battery life isn’t great; however, this can be improved by using lower brightness settings or turning off Wi-Fi when not in use (this will save even more battery power).
- There is no physical mute button on the keyboard – instead, you have to press fn + spacebar which is annoying if someone keeps buzzing around your desk while working on something important but doesn’t want their voice heard while they’re doing so because they don’t have anything worth saying anyway…
Screen
To be perfectly honest, the screen size is a bit of a letdown for me. I’ve been using 15-inch laptops for years now and have really come to love having more screen real estate. Now that Apple offers a larger display on their MacBook Air, I’m hoping they’ll add it to the 12in version as well.
It’s not just me: many users would prefer a larger display than what comes standard on this machine. It seems silly not to offer more options when there are so many users who want them—given how popular laptop sizes are these days, it’s kind of ridiculous that you can’t get one with an even bigger screen!
Keyboard Specification
The MacBook 12in M7 doesn’t have the most comfortable keyboard. It’s not as quiet as the MacBook Pro, nor is it as quiet as the MacBook Air.
I’d say that if you plan on typing in a very quiet setting (like a library), you’ll want to invest in a pair of noise-canceling headphones or earplugs. But if your work involves lots of typing, this isn’t too much of an issue.
Processor
Apple is expect to launch new laptops later this year. The faster processors are expected to be called the Apple M10, and they’ll be both more powerful and more efficient than the current chips.
The new chips will come with Fast Sync technology, which makes it possible for your computer or phone to download content on your device at the same time as it’s being downloaded over a Wi-Fi connection. This can cut down on buffering time while streaming video or loading websites. The technology is already available in desktop computers from Apple and other manufacturers; it’s just a matter of time until it rolls out on laptops too.
Design
The current design is great, but it’s also starting to feel a bit dated. I’d like to see Apple add a new color option, but more importantly I’d like them to update the keyboard and trackpad as well. This would be an easy way for Apple to keep things fresh without having to change up too much on their part.
The current screen is sharp enough and has good color reproduction, but it would be nice if they could extend its brightness range or even make use of OLED technology in future devices.
Comparison With Other Laptops
Apple is a great company, but it’s not perfect. And when you compare the MacBook 12in M7 to its competitors, it’s clear that Apple has room for improvement.
The MacBook 12inch– M7’s design is still unmatched in the laptop world today; however, I don’t think that holds true for much longer. The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 and Asus ZenBook S13 both have thinner bezels around their screens than Apple does on this model and are both more portable because of it (check out our comparison chart below). The Dell also has a better keyboard and trackpad than what you get with this model from Apple—and even though I can tell myself over and over again how much nicer typing feels on an aluminum key than plastic ones do (I’ve done just that).
In 2022, the MacBook remains one of the best computers you can own. From its design to performance, simplicity, and accuracy it has remained a favorite in the eyes of consumers and professionals alike.
The MacBook is not only beautiful but fast too with an Intel Core i7 processor paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. It’s also incredibly thin at just 4mm thick making it easy to carry around or put into your bag on the way out of your door each morning.
Conclusion
The MacBook is still the best laptop you can own, but Apple needs to step up its game. It’s time for a redesign that makes it more competitive with other companies products on the market. Apple could use some upgrades in terms of screen options and processor speeds as well as better support for fast sync and quad-core CPUs in future models. Other than that though, I think this computer will always be one of the best computers you can own because it’s so simple yet powerful at the same time!
